We have now activated GPT-5 for chatbots created with Chatmoat! GPT-5 is the latest model from OpenAI. It has its pros and cons when being used for support chatbots (see below).
How to Select GPT-5 for Your Chatbot
It is available in the dashboard if you go to Customize in the left sidebar and scroll down to AI Model.
Select GPT-5, scroll down until you see the button Save changes.
Click it and you are now using GPT-5 for your assistant.
Pros and Cons with GPT-5
GPT-5 is a smart model. It thinks longer when it needs to, and gives instant answers when it can. Using GPT-5 as your model for your chatbot might create longer answering times for some questions.
In certain cases, GPT-5 might give a better answer than GPT-4o. However, initial tests from our side show that GPT-4o creates answers just as good as GPT-5 and is usually a bit quicker to respond as well.
